It also protects damaged feathers of birds with a tendency to pluck. This can be worn for prolonged periods of time as it does not cover the birds vent. Instructions for attaching to Vest: With the bird dressed, open velcro fasteners and secure provided leash attachment to garment. The two sided fastening devise will fit invisibly between vests velcro. Allow the attached metal ring to hang near tail. Clip into leash.
